Xstream
This group is aimed at our year four and five children. The group meets in the larger room upstairs and is led by Ruth Finlay, also working in this group are, Jane Kemp, Lynne Leedam and Ann Paddon. In X Stream we are thinking about hands at the moment, leading up to Easter we are looking at the following....
- Reaching hands - explore how Jesus hands reached out to others (Jesus heals man with leprosy) 10th Jan
- Caring hands - recognise how Jesus hands cared for those who needed his help (Jesus heals deaf man) 17th Jan
- Sharing hands - consider how Jesus used his hands to share and meet need (Jesus feeds 5000) 24th Jan
- Welcoming hands - Jesus hands welcome everyone, important or insignificant (who is the greatest?) 31st Jan
- Giving hands - attitude to giving (rich man and widows offering) 14th Feb
- Loving hands - loving God and loving others (most important commandment) 21st Feb
- Hurting hands - Jesus died in our place (Jesus is nailed to the cross) 28th Feb
- Strong Hands - Jesus has strong hands (Jesus is alive) 14th & 21st March
