We’ll be celebrating Harvest on Sunday 27th as part of our journey through Joseph’s story.
We’ll be collecting items to work alongside one of our 6 charity partners, The Homeless Pastors, as they continue to serve the homeless in Halifax and beyond.
They have particularly asked us to collect:
Packets of biscuits, Individual wrapped packets of crisps
Coffee, Tea, Hot Chocolate
Pot Noodles
Socks, Hats
Toothbrushes, Toothpastes
Baby wipes
Sleeping bags
So, if you feel able to contribute something, please pick something from the list and add it to your shopping basket over the next few weeks, then bring it along on Sunday 27th. At worship on that Sunday, we’ll give thanks for all that God has given us and ask God to bless it’s use. Whether you can manage a packet of crisps a sleeping bag, or something in between, they’ll all make a difference to someone. Thank you.
