Dudwell Lane is approached from the Huddersfield/ Elland side (A629)by turning left at the traffic lights at the top of Salterhebble Hill (after the Watermill Restaurant) and from Halifax (along A629), by turning right at the lights immediately after Calderdale Royal Hospital. 

The church is about 800m up the hill on the left hand side, next to the school.
